Today at science lab we learned about renewable resources. Our class watched a video on different ways you can use renewable resources. For example, Iceland runs off water turbines and geothermal, which equals out to 80 percent of where they get their power.Another example is Fedex, one of its building which is in California, is run off solar power! And finally, a new idea does popped up is that you can make energy from waves. This is what I learned, and I hope we run off these fuels rather than fossil fuels.

Computer Lab 2
Today in computer lab we reviewed math. I liked it because know I can go to this website and interact with the math I have not mastered. For example, I could look up how to find the area of a rectangle if I needed a review. This really helps me for the future when I forget something and want to review it for a test. Also it gave you games to interact with on the subject. I can't wait for next weeks computer lab!

The War of the Worlds
Its just an explosion on mars, right? The book The War of the Worlds by H.G. Wells, 251 pages, is about a man who lives in Woking ,Surrey and experiences a meteor crash in Horsell Common. Not to far from where the man lives. He's one of the first to discover a cylinder which contains Martians, which are big and grayish. Then they tried to create peace with it, but it fought back with a heat ray! It killed an astronomer and random civilians. This starts the man's story on a epic journey to survive, Will the world survive this attack? You have to read and see. This is an awesome book, and I am probably going watch the movie!.

Computer Lab
Today in compute lab we went over a lot of stuff that well help us in the future. Such as Khan academy and how it will help me when you get older, by reviewing anything to do with math! We also had a couple of other sites that will be like a virtual tutor. A thing I enjoyed the most was when I get older I can go to a M.I.T website and take a class for free! Which other wise it would take 2,000-3,000 dollars to take. These things are real world things and thats why I enjoyed it.
